I am so excited that the Seasonal Expression 2 Ideas Book is now available with so many gorgeous new papers, stamps, stickers, thin cuts and bling. It's like Christmas every 4 months when a new Close to my Heart Ideas Book launches. As soon as I saw the True Love Collection revealed at the Australian Convention in March I knew it would make the most gorgeous Wedding and Birthday cards. In April I got stuck into designing cards with the True Love Complements and True Love Picture my Life Cards.

I have used the Sugarplum Glitter Paper and the brand new Rose Gold loose sequins to add extra sparkle and elegance to these cards. I love the beautiful Wedding Dress and Floral designs of these Picture my Life Cards. Sugarplum, Ballerina and Sapphire are the latest colour trends. I love how Close to my Heart have paired these 3 colours together, to bring a sense of class to this Wedding Collection. I also featured the pretty new Lace Border Thin Cuts in these cards and it was the first time I used this Thin Cut. It's so sweet and dainty and it will be so popular in this new Ideas Book. It you love it as much as I do, grab it to add to your Thin Cuts collection.  There cards were so fun and easy to make and I've stamped sentiments from the upcoming June Stamp of the Month - It's your day to Sparkle.

"I Heart Us" Rainbow 12 Card Workshop 

I am so excited to share with you these bright, fun and happy cards made with the Close to my Heart Collection - I Heart Us! I have designed 12 Rainbow cards for this fun workshop using the 'I heart us' Picture my Life Cards and 'I heart us' Complements. All the sentiments of love and happiness come from a cute new stamp set - Wordfetti. 

I love the happy rainbows, cute butterflies and bright flowers in this card Workshop. I've used some fun tools like Fancy Tag thin cuts, new Playful Scallops Embossing Folder and Mini Stapler to make them extra fancy. I've topped them off with some pretty 'I Heart Us' sequins for extra sparkle. Here are a few of my favourite cards from the Workshop.

Hi, I'm Jane, a Close to my Heart Consultant from sunny Gold Coast, Australia. I am a passionate Scrapbooker who has been creating Memory Keepsake Albums for over 14 years. I love flicking through my completed scrapbook albums, and reliving the memories I have preserved, while remembering the fun times I spent with my crafty friends making those special pages. I love teaching the importance of printing treasured photos and Scrapbooking them in simple, easy and fun ways. Since joining Close to my Heart in 2015 I have discovered a new found love for Card Making. I really enjoy the delight on my family and friends faces when they open a handmade card - I have made especially for them.
